I was born and raised in Michigan and spent a good deal of my artistic time on the shores of Lake Michigan both in Frankfort at Crystal Lake and Traverse Bay. The water whispers to my creative muse.
I am a self-taught artist blessed with God-given talents both with keystrokes and a brush in acrylic medium on canvas. My work has been bought and sent as gifts all over the world. I have captured the Pt Betsie on boat oars, dressers, headboards, canvas and greeting cards. Painting is my passion, my first love and often I have been told my work captures the essence of 'feelings' from a breeze, the warmth of sunshine, the chill of winter snow...not only can you see it but you can feel the emotions captured in paint.
I welcome photographs to capture as original pieces of art. My work is realistic in nature and captures the 'feel of the moment' as I let my brush dance across the stretched canvas.
